GSK Stockmann advised the Berlin-based Arsipa Group on its merger with the occupational health and safety firm Ingenieurbüro Rainer Siebert, also based in Berlin. Through the merger, the acquiring Arsipa Group company, PAPmed GmbH, is expanding its range of services in the eastern part of the German capital and the state of Brandenburg with the merger, while also securing the future of Ingenieurbüro Rainer Siebert, a family-run business founded in 1990.

A GSK Stockmann team led by Berlin-based partner Robert Korndörfer provided comprehensive advice on the merger. The team was able to draw on the firm’s many years of experience in the healthcare sector. GSK Stockmann regularly advises hospitals and clinic groups, healthcare investors, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, laboratories and biotech companies as well as operators of medical centres, digital health and eHealth companies.

GSK Stockmann is a frequent partner of the Arsipa Group. Most recently, the law firm supported the company in acquiring a number of occupational healthcare providers, including Betriebsärzte Allgäu, Münchener Betriebsmedizin-23 GmbH and AMD Schwäbisch Gmünd. In addition, a team from GSK Stockmann advised the group on mergers with Mplus Managementgesellschaft as well as with sigeko – Ingenieure.

PAPmed GmbH is a well-established occupational healthcare provider based in Berlin, operating within the Arsipa network. Incorporating Ingenieurbüro Rainer Siebert into the PAPmed family will ensure the successful continuation of this family-run business, which has its roots in Berlin and Brandenburg since 1990 and is an integral part of Berlin’s occupational safety landscape. The company was founded by Rainer Siebert, a pioneer of intercompany occupational health and safety solutions in the Berlin region. His daughter, Andrea Siebert, has played a significant role in steering the company over the decades as managing director. The team supports clients from the public, social and healthcare sectors, as well as the service and industrial sectors, mainly in Berlin and Brandenburg.
