Dispute resolution

Within: Dispute resolution

Intellectual property and M&A are key areas of Bird & Bird’s contentious activity, which also includes high-profile arbitration. In recent highlights, the group represented Industrias Afrasa in a damages claim following the successful outcome of a proceeding before the Italian Antitrust Authority that ascertained the abusive conduct of a global chemical company in the Italian market of fosetyl-aluminium-based fungicides; the group also defended Italian public transport company Azienda Trasporti Molisana (ATM) in two lawsuits related to exceeding state aid received for public transport services and infrastructures. Practice head Edoardo Courir and Giovanni Galimberti are the key contacts. IP and life science expert Massimiliano Mostardini is another name to note.
