Position

Martin Chajchir joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2002 and became a partner in 2013. He specializes in intellectual property litigation with a focus on trademarks, domain names and industrial models and designs. His areas of practice include anti-counterfeiting –in which he has a vast expertise in preliminary injunctions and attachment and seizure measures–general IP litigation, domain name recovery, and out-of-court claims. He also has extensive experience in pre-trial mediation proceedings, conducting negotiations and drafting settlement agreements.

He is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal (Buenos Aires Bar Association), the Association Internationale pour la Protéction de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), and the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he is currently serving as a Co-Chair of the INTA Bulletin Committee, Law & Practice: Latin American & the Caribbean.

Education

He graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Belgrano in 2000 and took courses on Patent Law and IP Licensing at Universidad Austral.
