Andrew is a partner in our Finance Group and leads the Finance Team in the Midlands specialising in all aspects of turnaround, restructuring, banking recovery and corporate insolvency work. He acts for a broad range of clients including banks, asset based lenders, private equity, distressed investors, businesses and insolvency practitioners.

Andrew has worked on a number of high profile restructurings and corporate insolvencies including Imperial Consolidated Plc (a US $500M international investment scheme); the Powerhouse Retail Group; MG Rover Group Limited; Royal Worcester and Spode; Wedgwood Museum Trust; The Julian Graves Retail Chain; The Birmingham Mailbox; Metalrax Group Plc as well as Premier League and Championship Football Clubs.

He has recently been involved in a number of confidential restructurings across a variety of different sectors including Education, Healthcare, Energy, Retail, Leisure, Construction, Automotive and Local Government.

Andrew is ranked as a leading individual in Legal 500 and Chambers and is widely recognised as a leader in the region and is noted for his “sound commercial judgment and solid advice” and is praised for his willingness to “go the extra mile”.
