Deepesh is a Principal Associate in our London tax team. He advises on a wide range of clients in respect of tax issues arising in corporate and finance based transactions.
Deepesh's recent experience includes: advising a solar energy client in respect of the tax issues faced when considering alternative forms of development finance and advising this client of the most tax efficient method to raise this finance; advising a London Stock Exchange listed client on its proposed USD 1.3 billion sale of assets; advising a Toronto Stock Exchange listed client on its USD 850 million share sale of its European group; and advising a New York Stock Exchange listed fund management group on withholding tax and double tax issues arising in respect of finance provided to numerous pan-European borrowers.
Deepesh has written a number of articles on tax based issues arising in the primary and secondary debt markets.
In addition, Deepesh is a member of the India Group.
