David Langer is counsel in the Environment, Land & Resources Department in the New York Office. His practice involves advising clients on a broad spectrum of environmental aspects of corporate, real property and financial transactions, including CERCLA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act and related State and local laws, such as New Jersey's Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA). Significant transactional matters have included representations of sellers, purchasers, lenders and underwriters in the context of asset and stock acquisitions, securities and high-yield debt offerings, commercial credit facilities and project finance transactions. He has also been involved in negotiation of contracts for solid waste disposal services and electric power demand side management projects.
