Srinivas Kaushik
Career
Srinivas Kaushik focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and growth capital investments. Principal clients include Apax Partners, BC Partners, Bain Capital, Lincolnshire Management, MSD Partners and Warburg Pincus. Srinivas also regularly represents portfolio companies of clients with respect to general corporate counseling and transactional matters.
Srinivas is considered to be “fantastic at dealing with and looking after clients” and is praised as a “very hard worker. He is smart, organized and practical” per Chambers. According to Chambers Global, one peer remarked, “he’s one I would be very positive about, a brilliant lawyer.” From 2019–2022 he was recognized as a “Notable Practitioner” for Banking; M&A by IFLR1000. Recently, he was named a “Private Equity MVP” in Law360′s “MVPs of the Year” for his work on some of the year’s most high profile and complex deals.
In addition, Srinivas leads the Firm’s India practice where he has represented the Firm’s clients in a number of acquisition/buyout and investment transactions in Indian companies, including in the largest leveraged acquisition to date. Srinivas is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers & Partners among lawyers with respect to investment funds investing in India.
Mr. Kaushik also serves on various firmwide committees including the Business Development Committee, the Finance Committee, the Partner Review Committee and the Associate Review Committee.
