Position

Mr. Betemps focuses his practice Employment and Social Security Law. He regularly advises clients on labor and social security laws as well as represents clients (companies and individuals) in connection with labor and social security claims and proceedings before local authorities, labor courts, labor unions and/or other competent authorities.

Enrique Betemps’ advice also includes the drafting and negotiation of employment agreements. Likewise, he regularly represents client in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements as well as he deals with unions in their day-to-day relationship and disputes.

Enrique Betemps regularly participates in due-diligence processes in connection with different types of transactions, analyzing labor and social security contingencies.

Career

Enrique Betemps joined PAGBAM in 1996 and he became a partner in the year 2015.

Previously, during 1995 he worked as a legal advisor in the Human Resources Department of TBA S.A. (Trenes de Buenos Aires S.A.) and in 1994 in the Human Resources Department of Metrovías S.A.

Mr. Betemps is the author and co-author of several articles on the matters of his expertise. He has participated as a speaker in the IBA conference held in Buenos Aires 2008 and at the conference on agribusiness of the The Institute Global TIG held in Buenos Aires 2011.

Education

Mr. Betemps received his law degree from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1986, and he received a Master of Laws at the Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, United States of America, in July 2000.
