Annapaola works as a counsel in the Finance & Financial Regulation practice in Milan where she advises banks, asset management companies, financial intermediaries, investment firms and listed companies.

The Finance & Financial Regulation team is at the forefront of the Italian market thanks to its strong track record on the regulatory side of the financial sector. They have gained significant experience advising on the rules which govern both banking and financial services activities and can assist clients across all relevant areas, including the enforcement proceedings arising from investigations by banking and financial services authorities (Consob and Bank of Italy) as well as the related judicial proceedings.

She specialises in banking and investment services and assists clients in a wide range of regulatory matters, advising on the implementation of the regulations affecting their activities. She mainly provides assistance to banks and financial intermediaries on issues relating to banking transparency, payment service and consumer credit regulations as well as on corporate governance and investment services.

Her advice to clients includes the day-to-day support issues that they face as well as assessing the changes in their pre-contractual and contractual documentation, internal policies and organisational procedures due to the new rules coming into force.

She works with commitment and determination to achieve the best result for the clients and always try to identify any innovation or change within the legal framework that may be an opportunity for them.
