Position

Pietro has in-depth and diverse experience in all areas of labour law: from ordinary personnel management to labour law aspects of extraordinary operations, labour relations and litigation.

He advises national and international clients on individual and collective dismissals, international secondments, contracts (relating to subordinate and autonomous labour relations), outsourcing processes, corporate transactions and corporate restructuring and reorganisation. He also advises on agency contracts, negotiations with top management and the regulation of the positions of top managers involved in extraordinary transactions.

He participated in the study programme established by the Center for American and International Law (CAIL) in Dallas, Texas (U.S.) and is a member of the association “Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani” (AGI) and of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).

Osborne Clarke maintains a concentrated practice of lawyers with experience in handling reorganisations and restructurings, as well as employment litigation. The firm’s global coverage ensures a seamless cross-border service for major, multinational, employment matters. It is also well-equipped to handle labour issues arising in the technology sector. Pietro Scianna, who joined the firm in April 2023 from Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici, heads the employment practice and handles personnel management to the labour law aspects of corporate transactions. Stefano Lava left the practice for Simmons & Simmons in April 2023.
