Diego Böhrt is a partner at PPO Abogados, and he leads the practice of Public Law and Anti-Trust.

Diego has a vast experience providing counseling to companies that maintain important relations with the State, in Administrative and Regulatory matters, particularly to those that operate in the telecommunications, electricity, hydrocarbons, transportation and Life Science industries.

He is also an expert in Antitrust Law and provides preventive counseling to clients in all the industries and has sponsored most of sanctioning administrative processes initiated by the Companies Authority for their antitrust behavior.

Has provided many consultancies to international cooperation organizations as an expert consultant in the areas of telecommunications, electricity, and competition.

Before joining PPO, he worked as an attorney in the regulation authorities of Telecommunications, Electricity and Hydrocarbons, as well as in the private sector.

Diego obtained his Law Degree from Universidad Católica Boliviana and a Master`s Degree in Economics and Regulation of Public Services from the University of Barcelona, in Spain. He also has a Master`s Degree in Corporate and Business Law from Universidad Gabriel René Moreno – de Chazal Foundation and a Diploma in Corporate Law (from UAGRM), Management of Policies to Promote Competition and Consumer Defense in the Telecommunications Sector from Universidad Externado de Colombia – EMI and diverse specialization and post graduate courses in Regulation and Competition at the USTTI (Unites States) University of Brasilia (Brazil) and Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (Argentina).
