Career

Koen Morbée is a partner and a member of the Board of Directors at Tiberghien.

His practice covers all Belgian taxes relevant for corporate, financing and real estate transactions. He focuses amongst others on international tax matters for large Belgian or foreign based multinational corporations with operations in Belgium. Mergers, acquisitions, demergers and other group reconstructions have been major elements of Koen’s corporate work.

Koen has been a regular contributor to a wide variety of tax publications and is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars. In 2004, he was appointed as National Reporter for Belgium at the 2004 Vienna IFA Congress on Double non-taxation.

Koen is a member of the Brussels Bar, member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). For many years Koen is a member of the editorial staff of the Belgian Journal of Tax Law (Tijdschrift voor Fiscaal Recht).
