Position

Alain is a partner and a Member of the Board of Directors at tax law firm Tiberghien.

As a lawyer, his area expertise mainly focuses on Belgian and international family law, matrimonial property law, gifts and donations, inheritance law and law of succession as well as (national and international) estate planning in particular with respect to the aspects of Belgian and international civil law.

Career

Alain joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in 2007. He lectures on estate planning and international private law at the Antwerp Management School , the Flanders Business School and the Private Banking Association of Belgium. Furthermore, Alain is a regular speaker at seminars and he is the author of many articles on estate planning in various journals.
