Dispute Resolution & Risk Management, Employment

Position

A double specialization in both dispute resolution and employment law enables me to successfully advise and represent clients in employment disputes. These provide an opportunity for extensive direct communication with company representatives, managers and employers, which in turn promotes a true understanding of clients’ needs.

Career

Advice on new labour code. I am proud to have been able to contribute to the formation of new judicial practice. After the new labour code came into force in Lithuania in 2017, our team was the first to successfully represent clients in cases related to redundancy or newly established clauses such as sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination.

Liability cases. I have represented clients in landmark cases on the civil liability of management board members, both of government organisations and of private companies.

Work with family offices. Advising family offices constitutes a substantial part of my work. Inspired by the possibility to help individuals, I assist family businesses in finding optimal business management possibilities.

Professional mediation. As a professional mediator I believe that a peaceful settlement of legal disputes best meets the client’s interests.

Developing young talent. I give lectures on commercial law at Vilnius Business College and mentor my younger colleagues at Sorainen.
