Career

Gergely Gundel-Takács is an Attorney-at-Law at Andersen in Hungary, being member of the M&A and Competition Law service lines. He engages in providing  wide-range of legal services to Hungarian and international companies on the fields of M&A, company and corporate law and competition law. His tasks mainly include the co-ordination and organization of due diligence procedures, the drafting of transaction documents, negotiation of transaction terms and the representation in front of Court of Registration and the Hungarian Competition Authority. 

His recent experience includes

  • Providing full scope due diligence and transactional legal services to the buyer side in relation to the acquisitions of the shares of an agricultural company and its subsidiaries;
  • Providing full scope legal services to a multinational company aiming to acquire land property in Hungary for the future development of industrial facilities related to the food sector;
  • Providing transaction services to the seller side during the sale of the e-mail marketing market leader in Hungary;
  • Providing transaction services and coordination of closing during the sale of a company group engaging in agriculture;
  • Providing due diligence and transaction services to the buyer side in relation to the acquisition of a company providing heat treatment services;
  • Full-time and full scope provision of legal services to multinational company doing business in the agri sector;
  • Providing full scope commercial law related services in connection with greenfield investment of irrigations systems;
  • Establishing company for the purpose of co-ordination and utilization of an EU funded irrigation project;
  • Representation of sellers during the sale of industrial facility to a real estate developer;
  • Representation in front of the Hungarian Competition Authority during the acquisition of a market leader on the market of pawn-shop services.

Gergely also gained relevant company law related experiences during the due diligence and quota sale and purchase of companies operating in different sectors of private health care, FOREX trading and banking.
