Position

Partner in Tax Practice. Specializes in VAT as well as excise duty advice, especially including tax litigation. Advises to entities in e.g. banking and insurance, automotive, pharmaceutical and energy sectors. Has carried out numerous tax reviews, participated in transaction planning and provided day-to-day tax and legal advice. His experience covers i.e. tax planning of the chain of supply in both domestic and international trade, implementing a new company’s policy of entering into contracts in order to minimize risk related to challenging of good faith of the purchaser and a right to deduct input VAT or projects aimed at confirming the right to apply tax exemption or a preferential tax rate. He has also participated in numerous litigation projects involving i.e. recovery of overpaid taxes, goods qualification for tax and customs purposes and exposing incompliance of national tax regulations with EU directives and treaties.
