Wegard’s practice includes IT/technology and data protection. Wegard also works with marketing law and consumer rights and cyber security. Wegard’s practice related to data protection includes transfers of personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, use of customer data for purposes related to marketing and analytics and use of cookies. He also has extensive experience on M&A-related matters within data protection and technology. Wegard also works with matters related to software, including open source and end-user licence agreements. He assists clients with regulatory related to the internet, e-commerence and consumer law.
