Career

Johan is counsel and adviser in international arbitration, litigation and mediation. He also serves as arbitrator. He has experience of dispute resolution since 2001, covering a variety of arbitration rules and court litigation, as well as mediation.

Prior to joining Magnusson in 2012 he was a lawyer at the Scandinavian law firm Wistrand.

Before his career as lawyer he served as a junior judge. His experience as counsel covers disputes between companies from all over the world, related to private equity, M&A, trade secrets, agency and resale relationships, license agreements, insurance and reinsurance agreements, franchise agreements, leasing agreements, construction agreements, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements, service agreements, employees, professional liability and international treaties.

The disputes he has dealt with concern industries such as health care, retail, recycling and waste collection, water supply, mining, construction, real estate, railways and cars, space, insurance, as well as accounting and finance.
