Erika Åslund’s team at Advokatfirman Cederquist provides ‘excellent, high-quality advice’ to investors on a wide range of real estate investments. It advised Länsförsäkringar Livförsäkring on the partial sale of a shopping mall and Grosvenor on its purchase of four shopping malls from Unibail Rodamco. Construction expert Ola Ihse joined from Mannheimer Swartling.

Johan Gustavsson and Mattias Wittgren head Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton’s ‘quick, deal-oriented’ group. Among recent highlights, Fredrik Ahlqvist assisted Sveafastigheter Fund III with its purchase of Accor Hotels Scandinavia, and Nils Sköld advised NIAM Fund IV on its acquisition of Heron City. Matti Scheffer joined from Advokatfirman Cederquist, but Tord Svensson moved to Eversheds.

Lindahl brings ‘good industry knowledge and appropriate advice’ to big-ticket transactions, such as Johan Lindberg’s advice to Pandox on the SEK10bn acquisition of Norgani Hotels. Staffan Brandt in Malmö is ‘helpful, flexible and efficient’. Jörgen Sandquist heads the group.

Linklaters LLP’s ‘considerate, commercial’ practice head Magnus Lidman advised Commerz Real on its SEK4.35bn divestment of a property to Vasakronan, and Unibail-Rodamco on the SEK2.4bn divestment of shopping centres to Grosvenor. Mounir Tajiou left for an in-house post.

MAQS Law Firm’s ‘service-minded, available and quick’ team advised Vasakronan ona SEK4.35bn property acquisition from Commerz Real, and NR Nordic & Russia Properties on the sale of a SEK3.37bn international property portfolio to Kungsleden. Stockholm-based Patric Olofsson and Gothenburg-based Magdalena Persson lead the practice.

The ‘professional, experienced’ Patrick Forslund heads Advokatfirman Vinge’s ‘excellent’ 25-lawyer group. Morgan Hallén and Fredrik Sonander advised Norwegian Property on the SEK10bn sale of Norgani Hotels, and Stefan de Hevesy advised Nordic Real Estate Partners on the SEK520m sale of five shopping centres to Kungsleden.

Ulf Skorup and Tomas Underskog lead the practice at Advokatfirman Åberg & Co AB, which is underpinned by the firm’s strength in environment law. Clients include Stockholm County Council and SL, and the team also handled work worth SEK1bn for real estate portfolio managers.

Jan Alexanderson’s ‘outstanding’ team at Baker & McKenzie Advokatbyra represented The Body Shop in 20 rental agreements. Anders Fast advised Altira on its purchase of Näsbypark Centrum. Jens Björkstrand joined from Transcom.

At Gernandt & Danielsson Advokatbyrå, Bob Johanson’s team advises on transactions, financing, planning, construction, and related environmental issues.

At Advokatfirman Glimstedt, Jan Litborn and Pontus Kågerman in Stockholm and Anders Wennergren in Gothenburg advised on Diös Fastigheter’s SEK5.8bn acquisition of Norrvidden and Fastighets AB Balder’s acquisition of Catena’s real estate portfolio.

Roschierleads the transaction from start to finish’. Practice head Marcus Hedén and David Sundin advised Niam Fund IV on the sale of a SEK1.18bn property portfolio to Wallenstam. The team also assisted with the SEK255m sale of shares in SAAB Automobile’s property company.

Setterwalls is ‘well organised, knowledgeable and cost-effective’. Practice head Lennart Iwar is advising Diligentia on a property development in Malmö. Stockholm-based Assur Badur advised Centeni on property disposals. Anders Heintze heads the Gothenburg team. The group advised Mats Paulsson on the SEK450m acquisition of AstraZeneca’s premises in Lund.

White & Case Advokat AB handled various transactions for Skanska, AREIM and SBC Sveriges BostadsrättsCentrum. Ulf Johansson heads the practice, which also includes the renowned Claes Zettermarck, who represents Nordic Capital, and M&A lawyer Anna Sundberg.

Christer Elande heads Wistrand’s five-partner team, within which the ‘thorough, responsive’ Per Dalemo in Gothenburg advised Nordic Choice Hotels, and Kristian Lundius in Malmö advised Newcap Holding on the SEK177m sale of two shopping centres.

Practice head Christian Luthman at Bird & Bird advised on structuring a new property fund. Johanna Olsson advised LKAB on the relocation of two cities away from mining works and, together with Mahmut Baran, assisted HEBA Fastighets with a complex transaction.

Henrik Wollsén’s ‘helpful, knowledgeable’ group at DLA Nordic handles a diverse range of instructions and includes a specialised financing team. Anders Malmström and Gustaf Ström advised TMW Pramerica on the SEK340m acquisition of Råå Köpcenter mall. Other clients include Riksbyggen and Cordea Saviles.
