Mannheimer Swartling excels at ‘complex issues’. Joint practice head Jesper Prytz handled Norrporten’s SEK1.1bn office purchase, and transaction specialist Magnus Josefsson is advising Orion Capital Managers on a major retail development. ‘Focused’ litigator Christian Pfeiff is also recommended.

New clients for Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton include Vasakronan and Midroc Europe. Team head Johan Gustavsson is noted for his business acumen, and recently represented Catella Real Estate on an SPV holding acquisition. Litigator Nicklas Björklund ‘delivers quality advice’. Tax specialist Nils Sköld and finance partner Håkan Lindgren joined Wistrand.

Johan Lindberg heads Advokatfirman Lindahl KB’s 40-lawyer practice. Maria Ingelsson is advising Gränby Centrum on an arena development, while Jörgen Sandquist acted on Swedavia Real Estate’s SEK1.8bn purchase of airport properties.

Recent highlights for Magnus Lidman’s team at Linklaters LLP include representing AXA on property and leasehold sales. It also advised life insurer Storebrand on a SEK537m office purchase.

Advokatfirman Vinge advised Rikshem on a SEK3bn apartment purchase and a share-based disposal. Stefan de Hevesy acted for Carlyle Group on a mixed-use acquisition in Stockholm, and Olof Jisland represented Platzer Fastigheter Holding in a SEK950m office deal. Patrick Forslund heads the team.

Boutique firm Advokatfirman Åberg & Co AB represents public sector clients including Stockholm County Council and the city’s transportation authority. It also advises private sector clients on real estate holdings totalling SEK1bn.

Baker & McKenzie Advokatbyra handles retail and development matters, transactional and lease agreements, and litigation. Clients include The Body Shop and The Royal Opera. Team head Jan Alexanderson has recently moved to Wistrand.

Advokatfirman Cederquist’s broad practice is led by the highly rated Erika Åslund. It advises on transactions, development projects, asset and property management, and investment structuring. Ola Ihse has construction experience.

At DLA Nordic, the ‘experienced and skilled’ Henrik Wollsén heads the mainstream real estate team, while the ‘positive’ Anders Malmström leads on transactions. The firm advised Spendrups on the SEK1bn expansion of a brewing facility.

Advokatfirman Delphi rises in the ranking this year. Magnus Björkander, who joined from Magnusson Advokatbyrå to lead the practice, advised M&G Property Fund on a SEK224m acquisition and Redevco on a SEK700m cross-border sale. Erika Rosenberg is recommended on the development side.

Johan Josjö is one of three partners in Gernandt & Danielsson Advokatbyrå’s transaction-led practice. Clients include foreign real estate funds acquiring Swedish property.

Advokatfirman Glimstedt delivers ‘high value for money’. Jan Litborn was active on several large real estate deals, and Anders Wennergren advised on a 500-apartment construction project in Gothenburg.

MAQS Law Firm’s Stockholm practice head Patric Olofsson advised a well-known fund on a SEK272m property holding company sale. Patrik Essehorn advised Klövern on a number of large deals, including a SEK490m purchase from KappAhl.

The ‘high-class’ team at Roschier advised Schroder Property on a SEK185m office purchase and separate retail acquisition. Practice head and ‘skilled negotiator’ Marcus Hedén and senior associate Mikael Stabo represented Niam Nordic Fund IV on several transactions. David Sundin moved to an in-house role.

At Setterwalls, Per Lidman has been assisting Diligentia with sales at a Malmö development; Gothenburg-based Anders Bengtsson acted for Skanska on a SEK652m office disposal; and Assur Badur advised developer ByggVesta on a SEK400m portfolio.

At White & Case Advokat AB, the ‘skilled’ Ulf Johansson advised Skanska on several acquisitions and joint ventures with developers. Anders Reldén represented NCC Construction in a lease dispute.

Wistrand’s Kristian Lundius advised Staffanstorp municipality on a SEK545m apartment sale, and Peab/Annehem on a SEK185m disposal. Tax expert Nils Sköld, who joined from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, advised Niam on a €175m Finnish property purchase.

Ashurst’s newly ranked practice is led by Pontus Bergsten. Highlights included advising a multinational retailer on leases, and assisting a Swedish client with selling logistics properties.

At Bird & Bird, practice head Christian Luthman advises property funds and developers on transactions and financing. ‘Up-and-coming’ senior associate Johanna Olsson represented Vasallen on a portfolio divestment. Mahmut Baran handles property tax matters.

Johan Sund at Ekenberg & Andersson Advokatbyrå advises Swedish clients on sales and leases.

Eversheds Advokatbyrå AB joins the ranking following Tord Svensson’s arrival from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. The five-strong team is advising Djurgårgen Stockholm in relation to its new football ground.

Falkenborn Advokatbyrå’s Klas Falkenborn and Johan Gadd advise local and international clients on all aspects of real estate law.

At Foyen Advokatfirma KB, Anders Janson advises a number of property funds.

The team at Gärde Wesslau Advokatbyrå handles general real estate matters and transactional support. Camilla Wikland specialises in Saami land rights.
