Dechert LLP is praised by a client for having a ‘very strong antitrust team, with tremendous depth on the bench and a keen insight on how to deal with the most vexing issues’. The firm handles matters across the whole range of antitrust litigation, including price-fixing and supply-reduction conspiracies as well as monopolization claims and other unfair competition. Specialising in antitrust defense litigation, Philadelphia-based Steven Bizar leads the practice together with Mike Cowie in Washington DC, who is particularly experienced in representing clients from the health care and life sciences industries. Also specialized in life sciences is George G Gordon in Philadelphia, while Shari Ross Lahlou has secured significant wins in tying, exclusive dealing, and cartel matters from the firm’s DC hub. At the beginning of 2022, Philadelphia-based Julia Chapman was elected to partner; she focuses on antitrust and complex commercial litigation in industries such as life sciences, chemicals, and agriculture.
