Position

Prof. Piotr Machnikowski, of counsel, is a member of the Litigation and Arbitration practice group in Dentons’ Warsaw office.

With civil and business law as his areas of focus, he advises clients on complex litigation matters. He has extensive experience as an arbitrator, in permanent courts and ad hoc arbitrations. He has also taken part in legislative work as a member of the Civil Law Codification Committee.

He is an author of publications on Polish, European and comparative private law. He is known for his prominent commentary on the Polish civil code, monographs on the law of obligations and many others.
