Johanne Boelhouwer is a partner in the Employment and Labor practice group in Amsterdam. She focuses on employment law and employee benefits, and she is also certified as a pension lawyer.

She litigates and supports clients in a wide range of employment matters—including individual, collective, and labor law matters. She has extensive experience guiding clients through works council and union consultation procedures, advising clients with regard to transfers of undertakings and flexible forms of labor arrangements (e.g. temporary employment, contracting, hiring staff through temporary agencies or payroll companies). Johanne keeps a close watch on developments in the law and regularly provides her clients with insights.

She frequently assists clients in a variety of pension matters, such as mandatory participation in pension funds, amendments to pension plans, indexation issues, the move to a different pension arrangement and what it involves.

Johanne also advises clients on their (executive) remuneration policies, including publicly listed companies. She is quite knowledgeable with regard to the Executives Pay Act (WNT), advising mainly the semi-public sector, including universities, housing corporations and health institutions.

Eugenie Nunes chairs the practice and is experienced in advising corporate entities on employment law issues, as well as representing companies in employment disputes. She is also well versed in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and works closely together with Marije Ozinga.
