Career

Clare-Alice is a competition law specialist. Her experience includes advising on  all aspects of competition law, ranging from merger control to prohibited practices and litigation. This experience extends to a number of Sub-Saharan African jurisdictions.

She has had significant exposure to the competition concerns which arise in the pay-TV, construction, tobacco and aviation sectors. She also has experience in civil damages litigation arising from cartel conduct. Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, Claire-Alice clerked for Justice Johann van der Westhuizen at the Constitutional Court of South Africa.
