Melanie is a BLP Associate in the Guatemala City offices. She specializes in the practice of Intellectual Property, in which she has advised national and multinational companies in all aspects related to the registration, protection, and defense of their Intellectual Property rights.

Likewise, she has extensive experience managing portfolios of trademarks, patents, and copyrights throughout the Central American region. Her expertise also covers negotiating and preparing various industrial and intellectual property contracts, as well as regulatory advice related to the Sanitary Registration of Products in Central America.

Melanie joined the BLP team as an associate in 2022.
