Career

Alexandra is a Director of BLP in the San Jose office in Costa Rica, specializing in the Labor & and Employment practice area.

She has extensive experience providing advice to national and foreign companies in a variety of labor issues such as prevention, planning, correction, internal structuring, compensation, benefits of executive staff, internal regulations, processes before administrative authorities, and litigation.

Besides leading due diligence processes on behalf of foreign companies interested in establishing a presence in Costa Rica, she has coordinated legal advice at the regional level for the other offices of BLP in Central America.

She is experienced in training corporate executive staffs in labor matters and has given talks on the subject at the regional level.

As a certified private mediator, Alexandra has experience in private dispute resolution in labor matters.

She joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2014. Her previous work roles include Associate at BDS Asesores, Legal and Human Resources Manager of Informatech Costa Rica, Legal Advisor for Human Capital, and a lawyer at the Therapists Association of Costa Rica.
