The team at McDermott Will & Emery LLP was twice strengthened in 2022, first with the hire of Prem Amarnani from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and then Luc Jansen from Kirkland & Ellis LLP in May 2022. They join a practice spearheaded by Ian Schwartz, who receives client praise for his ‘sophistication when dealing and negotiating with LPs from different jurisdictions‘. The group acts for an array of institutional, boutique and first-time sponsors, with a substantial mid-market client base that David Nestler has been instrumental in growing. ‘Excellent advisor‘ Erica Moscarello is across fund formation and operation, as well as regulatory matters.
