Bill Benitez is a partner in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice concentrates on complex business transactions in the energy industry, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements, and related general corporate counseling. Bill has worked on transactions in a variety of energy industry segments, including upstream, transportation and midstream, coal and other mining, chemicals and industrials, energy and industrial services, renewables and clean energy and power generation.
