It is also at the forefront of aviation finance and has further capabilities in sovereign bond offerings (notably for the Republic of Paraguay), and extensive expertise in cross-border M&A, including inbound and outbound transactions between Latin America and the US. Amy Dulin is a big name in bilateral and syndicated loans to major Brazilian businesses, acting for a range of international investment banks; Emilio Saiz is another emerging talent in Brazil financings, having been elevated to partner in 2021. Co-chair of the Latin America team, Federico Goudie was raised in Brazil and has represented the Republic of Paraguay for over 20 years, recently representing the state on its $500m sovereign bond offering. His fellow co-chair, Ruben Diaz specialises in cross-border investment and M&A, and Mark Denham is at the forefront of the aviation finance field; he advised United Airlines on its landmark $10.75bn senior secured debt financing, involving substantially all slots, routes and gate leaseholds in Latin America.
