Career

John F. Wilson KC, is an accomplished commercial litigator who is renowned for his problem-solving skills and ability to advocate effectively for his clients.

As a distinguished King’s Counsel at the Bahamian Bar specializing in trust litigation and private client advisory work, his advice is regularly sought after by numerous institutional trustees, high net worth individuals and investors.

He has successfully appeared before Her Majesty’s Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in landmark cases, where his prowess was described by Baroness Hale in a 2006 Judgment as one of “skill economy and charm”.

Wilson KC became Senior Partner of the firm in 2019. He has held appointments on numerous statutory boards in dedicated public service along with directorship of several businesses. He is a sought after Arbitrator and a contributing author of The Bahamas chapter in ADR and Trusts: an international guide to arbitration and mediation of trust disputes; The Bahamas chapter in The International Real Estate Handbook published by John Wiley & Sons Ltd; and The Bahamas chapter in Carter – Ruck on Libel and Privacy published by Butterworths.
