Alexander joined McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes in 2006 as an Associate and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006 and the Bahamas Bar in 2009. Alexander was invited into the Partnership in 2019

Alexander completed his Bachelor of Law Degree at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, and continued his studies at the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill in Barbados. He then went on to Manhattan, New York, where he was successfully admitted to the New York Bar in 2006 before returning to The Bahamas and being admitted to The Bahamas Bar in 2009.


Alexander enjoys traveling, boating the Family Islands of The Bahamas, golfing and cooking. Alexander is also a Rotarian member of the Rotary Club of East Nassau.

At McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes, Kimberley Rolle heads up the real estate practice, which advises on transactional, contentious and private client real estate mandates including entity establishments, management issues, trusts, estate and tax planning work, and regulatory mandates. In a recent highlight, the team advised developer Mylor Caribbean Development on the construction of 121 high-end luxury condo residences at Love Beach, Nassau. Rolle focuses on real estate transactions and also handles development matters, while practice vice chair Alexander Christie has notable expertise in asset protection structures. Timothy Eneas is the primary contact for property litigation and conveyancing work; Gia Sands made partner in 2021 and works closely with tourism and leisure sector clients; and associate Vanessa Hall acts for developers and high-net-worth families.

The corporate and commercial transactions group at McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes is a key name in the jurisdiction for offshore trust and private client work, and works closely with the firm’s litigation team on commercial disputes. The team is also particularly active in advising on liquidations and insolvencies, regulatory matters, contractual work, financings, investment management and fund work, and restructuring mandates.
