Career

Francisco Costa e Silva started his career as an in-house counsel at BNDES, where he held various positions, including being the Head of the Legal Department at BNDESPAR and Superintendent of several areas and Executive Officer at BNDESPAR and BNDES. During this period, he was also a member of the Boards of Directors at BNDES Pension Fund. Later, he served as Commissioner and Chairman at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). He also presided the Council of Securities Regulators of the Americas (COSRA) and served as a member of the Boards of Directors at various companies, including Banco do Brasil, Vale, Usiminas and CIELO (current).
