Career

Maria Isabel Bocater has practiced Corporate Law and Capital Markets for more than 20 years. Her previous experience includes being Commissioner of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) for 6.5 years, after having held the positions of lawyer, manager, and Legal Superintendent at the Commission. She also served as an alternate member of the Conselho de Recursos do Sistema Financeiro Nacional (National Financial System Appeals Board).She is the author of several articles published in specialized journals and magazines.
