Jack Dodd
Jack Dodd is an Associate Solicitor in the Family team at Blacks. He joined as a Paralegal in 2019, began his training contract in 2020, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2022. In recognition of strong client relationships and technical ability, he was promoted to Associate in 2025.His practice covers all aspects of private family law, with particular expertise in complex financial remedy proceedings. Jack regularly advises on cases involving pensions, business assets, international property, third-party claims, and intervenor issues. His work also includes representing clients in complex children matters and in disputes arising under trusts of land proceedings.A strong advocate for early legal advice, Jack helps clients put protective arrangements in place through nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and declarations of trust. Known for a practical, client-first approach, he has been recognised in The Legal 500 for making “the process relatively stress-free due to his professionalism, advice and knowledge.”Jack studied English Law with European Law at the University of Leeds, including a year abroad at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He later completed an MSc in Law, Business and Management with Distinction at the University of Law. Before qualifying, Jack taught undergraduate law as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
