Paul Sagar is a Partner in Blacks' Real Estate Litigation team. He joined in 2022 and was promoted to Partner in 2024. With over 15 years of experience, his work spans all aspects of property litigation for clients including landowners, developers, lenders, receivers and occupiers.

A career that includes roles at firms across the UK- most notably a decade in London’s West End- gives Paul a national perspective and a commercial, solution-led approach to disputes.

Regarded as a leading expert in telecommunications law, Paul acts exclusively for site providers under the New Electronic Communications Code. His clients range from individual landowners and farmers to city-centre hotels and multinational businesses. Involvement in several landmark cases, including CTIL v University of London and CTIL v Compton Beauchamp Estates, highlights his expertise in this area.

His broader practice includes high-value dilapidations claims, complex lease renewals, insolvency disputes and advice to developers on restrictive covenants and other real property issues.

Known for his collaborative style, Paul works closely with surveyors, agents and other specialists to keep commercial goals front and centre.
