David Ward is a Partner in Blacks' Employment team. Since joining in 2011, he progressed quickly through the firm, qualifying in 2013 and becoming a Partner in 2019. That trajectory reflects a reputation as both a sharp litigator and trusted adviser.

Advising businesses and senior individuals across all areas of employment law, David specialises in complex Employment Tribunal litigation, settlement negotiations, and dispute resolution.

A strong practice has been built representing both employers and employees in single and group claims. Particular expertise lies in education-sector employment disputes, alongside regular instructions from clients in manufacturing, automotive and agriculture.
