Victoria is a Partner at Simpson Millar and heads up the Administrative and Public Law practice.Victoria specialises in challenging decisions made by public bodies concerning vulnerable people.

She has more than 10 years’ experience in Public Law, Community Care and Human Rights, and is highly rated for her expertise in representing vulnerable adults and young people, such as age disputed minors and victims of trafficking. She regularly represents children and care leavers in relation to challenges involving duties owed under the Children Act 1989 including in age dispute challenges with a focus on representing unaccompanied asylum seeking young people.

Her particular areas of expertise also include public law challenges for victims of trafficking, Care Act cases for those without settled immigration status and asylum support challenges.

Victoria also works with many charities, including Freedom from Torture, the Red Cross, the Children’s Society, Coram Voice, ECPAT, Just for Kids Law and the Refugee Council.
