Career

Geraldine is a corporate commercial and transactional M&A lawyer, with a practice area focus across a number of sectors including telecommunications, trade, agriculture, hospitality and tourism, services and energy. She has undertaken numerous transactional M&A matters, including as lead solicitor and negotiator in past projects leading to accolades in various legal publications including Asian Legal Business’ Annual 40 under 40 list in 2018, which profiles accomplished lawyers in Asia under 40.

Clients have commended her for her “deep legal knowledge, fast turnaround and ability to quickly understand the client’s perspective” and being “engaging and knowledgeable, with a very practical mindset”.

Geraldine joins KPMG from a leading regional ASEAN law firm having most recently been based at its Myanmar and Thailand office. Prior to that, Geraldine was practicing in Malaysia where she started her career in litigation involving complex corporate commercial disputes. She has now relocated to Vietnam and is based full time in Ho Chi Minh City.
