Career

Grégory Chastagnol graduated from the University of Cergy-Pontoise with a Business Law degree (DJCE) and a Certificate in Employment Law. He began his career in 2001 as an employment lawyer for the French Union of the Cement Industry (SFIC).

In 2003, he joined Rambaud Martel as a lawyer. He then moved to Fromont Briens in 2005.  Having specialized in employment law, in 2009 he became a partner and then co-manager for more than 5 years, until March 2018. He is one of FACTORHY’s founding partners and currently leads a team of 5 lawyers. He assists commercial, industrial and service companies, both French and international, developing SMEs and Mid-Caps, large international groups of all types, and companies or public establishments with status.

Grégory Chastagnol is ranked a “Leading Individual” in the LEGAL 500 Guide, among the “Best Lawyers” in labor law, 5 stars by the Option Finance Droit et Affaires ranking in employment protection plans, and “Leading” in the Décideurs 2019 ranking in Health, Safety and Social Optimization. Grégory is a Liaisons Sociales instructor and has been a lecturer at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Sécurité Sociale for the past 5 years as well as on the DJCE in Cergy-Pontoise. He is also the editor or co-editor of numerous articles or professional publications (Liaisons sociales special issues, Semaine Sociale LAMY articles or coordination of special issues for the cahiers du DRH) with an innovative approach to the subjects addressed. Grégory is particularly involved in matters of employee savings, optimization of working hours, as well as strategic restructuring cases, and complex, large-scale or high-risk collective disputes.
