Linklaters LLP provides 'a Rolls-Royce service to its corporate clients in their employment disputes' and 'stands among the best for big-ticket litigation'; it recently represented a doctor in the Court of Appeal regarding his dismissal following him raising concerns and related whistleblowing issues. Other recent mandates include advising several major banks on the employment components of the implementation of ring-fencing rules, assisting AmecFosterWheeler with the employment elements of its takeover by John Wood Group and handling the employment aspects of Schneider Electric's combination with the Aveva software business via a reverse takeover. Commerzbank, Morgan Stanley, Sainsbury's, Unilever and the National Grid are also clients. Nicola Rabson leads the group and is singled out as 'the star of the team'; other key names include the 'highly experienced and thoughtful' Jean Lovett, the 'extremely knowledgeable' Jillian Naylor, managing associate Sinead Casey and counsel David Speakman.
