Wolf Theiss advises an impressive roster of domestic and international clients on cross-border financings, with new mandates continuing to emerge out of the IT sector, as well as project finance transactions. The team recently advised the lenders, including BSTDB and EBRD, on one of the largest project finance matters in Bulgaria, regarding the payment of the upfront concession fee due by the concessionaire of Sofia Airport. The team is led by Katerina Kraeva and Richard Clegg, who are supported by senior associate Jasmina Uzova, associate Konstantin Altandzhiyski and dual UK-Bulgaria qualified consultant Irina Dekova, who is praised for her cross-border experience.

CEE leader Wolf Theiss fields a team of experienced practitioners, who handle a wide range of work both as lead counsel and local counsel, particularly in the technology and energy sectors, including major cross-border transactions. Wolf Theiss focuses on advising on the structuring of multi-phase projects and real estate investments, financing and corporate mandates for real estate companies, as well as acting as lead adviser to leading retailers, including international clothing company H&M Hennes & Mauritz, regarding commercial lease agreements. The multidisciplinary team also counts Strabag and Business Park Sofia among its key roster of clients. Managing partner Anna Rizova heads the practice with the support of Katerina Kraeva, who handles the financing aspects of real estate transactions.
