Career

Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer is Managing Partner of Plasseraud IP. She is an Industrial Property Attorney and European Trademark and Design Attorney and heads the legal department of Plasseraud IP. Guylène has 40 years of experience in IP portfolio management strategy, and acts as counsel and litigator, notably for major players in the sports, energy, luxury and retail sectors. Guylène was elected in 2022 to head the CNCPI, the French representative body of the profession, of which she had already been president from 2017 to 2020, becoming the first IPC with a legal background to hold this position. Involved in the IP and innovation ecosystem, she has taken on numerous missions within various professional organizations, including the Disciplinary Chamber and the Advisory Board of the CNCPI, and in the organization of the CPI qualification exams. During her mandates, Guylène has been particularly involved in the advent of the Unitary Patent and the implementation of the Unified Patent Jurisdiction, which will see the light of day in 2023 in 17 European States. She was awarded the Order of Merit for the actions carried out under her Presidency and her career. Guylène joined Plasseraud IP in 1990.
