Position

Sijbren is pension law specialist. He represents a large number of pension funds and pension service providers. He also advises Dutch and foreign companies on pension matters. Sijbren has extensive experience in the field of pension asset transfers, liquidations of pension funds, outsourcing, changes and de-risking of pension schemes, works councils aspects of pensions, exemption of sector wide pension funds, regulatory pension issues. He also litigates on pension matters (including the liability of pension providers).

Sijbren is co-author of a commentary on the Dutch Pension act, editor of PensioenJurisprudentie and author of the book “Nederland Pensioenland”.
