Career

Lennart Crain is an Amsterdam-based partner in the firm’s Corporate group, focusing on M&A and private equity. He specializes in public and private M&A transactions, including auctions, public bids (tender offers), complex disentanglements and leveraged buyouts. He has ample experience in transactions for financial institutions, in the TMT sector and with private equity.

Before joining AKD Lennart was with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, where he advised on both domestic and cross-border deals. He regularly works with leading international law firms on multi-jurisdictional mandates.

Education

In New York Lennart obtained an MBA in Finance at Columbia Business School. His financial knowledge allows him to translate financial aspects to the legal negotiations and transaction documents.
