Katherine Bell is a Counsel in our Dispute Resolution Group in Zurich. Her main areas of practice are domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration. She specializes in the resolution of disputes arising out of complex construction, engineering and infrastructure projects across a variety of industries. She acts as counsel and arbitrator in arbitral proceedings, represents parties in litigation proceedings before Swiss courts, and assists clients in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts.

Fielding a team that is ‘commercial, clever, responsive and a pleasure to deal with’, Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd handles high-profile, complex commercial litigation, often with a cross-border element. The team particularly stands out for its commercial and banking expertise and counts Credit Suisse, Volkswagen, EFG International and UBS as clients. Peter Burckhardt heads up the group in Zurich, while Louis Burrus and Clara Poglia were recently appointed as co-heads of the Geneva team.
