Martin specialises in derivatives and structured finance, (corporate) finance, debt restructurings and re-financings, loan sales, as well as limited recourse (project and acquisition) finance. Martin represents arrangers and lenders active in the region as well as borrowers/issuers in transactional work in Austria and CEE. He has a proven track record in respect of many different transactions in bank portfolios (true sales and synthetics). In addition, Martin is Austrian counsel to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), the Section on Banks and Insurance Companies of the Austrian trade association (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich), the Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V. and the British Bankers’ Association on derivatives matters (close-out netting), and also advises numerous banks on derivatives transactions (including collateral structures) with Austrian and Central European counterparties.
