Sven Frode Frølund specialises in M&A, M&A Real Estate and Private Equity.Providing structured and solution-oriented legal advice, Sven Frode assists, in particular, private equity clients, pension funds and other investors on acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures. He has many years of experience in cross-border transactions and advises several international private equity heavyweights on their Danish activities.

Having started his career in Denmark, Sven Frode spent seven years in New York and London, practising as an attorney at law before the New York State Bar and subsequently being employed as an associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. At Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, he specialised in the M&A both within the Private Equity and Real Estate space across Europe and with a particular focus on the Nordics.

During his years abroad, Sven Frode has established a vast international network. He has advised several large private equity funds on a number of M&A and property transactions in Europe and on several capital market cases, including, in particular, issuance of high-yield bonds.
