Knut Ekern brings three decades of expertise in providing tax advisory services to major private and publicly-owned industrial enterprises. His practice is particularly concentrated on the renewable energy sector and infrastructure industries.

Knut has in-depth knowledge of the special tax regimes applicable to renewable energy producers in Norway. Since 1995, he has advised on numerous structuring projects and transactions within the Norwegian renewable energy industry. His comprehensive experience and detailed knowledge of the regulatory framework in renewable energy contribute to his commitment to delivering practical solutions to his clients.

As a recognized authority in his field, Knut is a regular presenter at the annual tax conference hosted by Renewables Norway.

Knut’s extensive background enables him to serve as a valuable discussion partner for project managers, senior financial officers, and executive teams. Beyond project-specific guidance, he offers counsel on broader tax management strategies and tax policy considerations.
