Career

Andreia is a partner in the Public Law practice. She specialises in urban and rural planning, and she has extensive experience in public and administrative law, urban development, environmental law, tourism, real estate and construction.

Andreia works closely with the real estate and construction, international projects, corporate/M&A, private equity and privatisations teams to provide legal support in complex transactions in Portugal involving planning and licensing issues.

She has a master’s in law (legal-political sciences/ rural and urban planning and environmental law) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She has also completed several postgraduate courses, including in administrative and tax justice, and in spatial planning and environmental law, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, and in administrative procedure at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Andreia was a trainee and began her career as a lawyer at PLMJ, and she returned to the firm in 2020.
