Robin Barclay QC
Robin practises in commercial, regulatory and criminal law with a particular focus on fraud, banking and financial services, corporate liability, directors’ duties, cross-jurisdictional investigations and judicial review.
In recent years Robin has appeared in numerous complex and high-profile commercial, regulatory and criminal cases across the full range of domestic courts and tribunals, as well as in a number of international financial centres. A number of those cases have involved multi-billion pound liabilities and/or criminal and regulatory outcomes of lasting and industry-wide significance. Robin has substantial experience as a sole advocate both at first-instance and on appeal (including the Court of Appeal, Divisional Court and Upper Tribunal).
He also routinely advises Boards and Board sub-committees of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies on suspected wrongdoing and crisis management.
