Career

Jayme Alter is an associate in our Dentons Toronto office’s Entertainment, Sports and Media Practice Group. Jayme’s practice focuses primarily on Entertainment law where she advises clients involved in a variety of industries, including film, television, publishing and music. She represents producers, artists, broadcasters, distributors and banks by providing assistance in negotiating and drafting agreements in connection with the financing, development, production and distribution of film, television and commercial projects. In addition, Jayme advises on production contracts related to Canadian and American talent guilds and assists her clients in the drafting and negotiation of branded entertainment initiatives, celebrity sponsorships and endorsements.

She is the recipient of the 2010 Maritime Law Book Prize in Legal Ethics and received a 2009 Dean of Law Entrance Scholarship.
